About Me:

I’m an artist born and raised in Chicago, where my creative journey started early—by age eight, watercolor brushes were practically an extension of my hands. That love for color, storytelling, and handmade magic led me to study Fine Art in college, deepening my foundation in traditional techniques and creative exploration.

At twenty, I moved to Los Angeles and discovered a whole new world of creativity. I fell in love with makeup, costumes, and prop fabrication, eventually building a decade-long career in Hollywood. I worked behind the scenes on major films, bringing creatures, characters, and fantastical worlds to life through practical effects and imaginative design.

After ten years in the industry, I realized my favorite part of the job wasn’t just creating—it was the spark of imagination that started every project. Now, I’m channeling that passion into teaching. My mission is to help kids unlock their creativity, build confidence, and explore their imaginations through monster-making, costume design, and hands-on art experiences. I want young artists to feel the same excitement I felt as a kid—discovering that with a few materials and a big idea, they can create entire worlds.
